Polish women are one of the groups which exist, but still haven’t got a strong representation in the local community. It is important to include everyone to build a stronger community and understanding other ethnic backgrounds is crucial to successful co existence. Only if we know each other better, do not harmfully misjudge or prejudice others we can work as one in a multicultural society as Newport. Sometimes language barrier is an issue, but many people are also educated, talented, ambitious and valuable members of the community.

We would like to concentrate on women in Newport, as we live in strange times where women’s rights are violated or not equal with men, and we often have to raise our voice to be heard.
